Assigned in petroleum department to follow up all activities and perform studies related to Menzel Ledjmet East & BRN Field Blocks 402, 403, 405b development plan, mainly focusing on: • Work in common with different departments to mitigate production losses for any planned or un-planned wells, ESPs and plant shutdowns. • Preparation in collaboration with completion team the pump and completion design for sucker Rod pumps (new contract and new application in the company). • Production surveillance and wells monitoring on daily basis, reporting all related anomalies to the field for any production loss. • Performing all well performance analysis to detect any suspicious anomalies, report and suggest way forward to team leader. • Integrated Asset Modelling (prosper-mbal-GAP). • Work in common with rigless and well testing team to on daily basis to ensure the success of all operations (slickline, colied tubing, and stimulation and production tests). • Work in coordination with drilling and completion department to follow-up on daily basis all workover and completion activities, define future activities to be able to prepare all requested documents from vendors, • Hold frequently meetings with different departments to define action plan for any issue causes production loss. • Evaluation, design and selection of the ESP equipment, using PE (Prosper) and service companies’ proprietary softwares. • Installation, commissioning, startup & troubleshooting analyses and real time monitoring for all the ESPs in the field using using internal monitoring system and service company solutions (AMBIT, ZediAccess). • Artificial lift selection and design including ESP and gas lift: evaluation of the artificial lift strategy for wells and fields. • Doing all analysis related to ESP commissioning and final start-up and advise the optimum parameters for the best ESP performance. • Manage in collaboration with service companies stock of ESP related equipment (DH + Surface) and look after the assets of the company. • Provide support for different well and field production teams for optimizing best solutions and remedial actions for ESP malfunctioning. • Work in collaboration with team in pumps failure analyses provide better solutions to increase pump’s MTBF. • Essential player in the contracts processing: technical evaluation of artificial lift technology adoption (electrical submersible pumps, sucker rod pumps). • Preparing in collaboration with service companies stimulation (Clay Acid, Mud Acid, Tube Clean) programs to restore well’s productivity/injectivity and sand cleanout programs. • Well Testing design and interpretation including Pressure Transient Analysis and Production Logging (Build-up, Flow & Fall-off for inj wells using Saphir and interpret). • Reservoir Surveillance plan including PLT (using Emeraude software), RST.

As a petroleum production engineer assigned to Petroleum engineering department for the Sonatrach/Sinopec Joint-Venture in Zarzaitine oil Field In Amenas. • Production surveillance on daily basis and report any suspicious production loss anomaly. • Prepare the required workover programs including production optimization (water shut-off, sand & deposit clean-out, Establishing back shut oil wells to production, Reconversion of producer wells to injectors, remedial jobs such as cement squeeze and recompleting wells. • Preparing new drilled wells ESP designs. • Electrical Submersible Pump Designer & Monitoring. • Preparation of Completion programs of ESP installation for water wells. • Attending all ESP installation, commissioning and final start-up. • Work in common with different departments to mitigate production losses for any planned or un-planned wells, ESPs and plant shutdowns. • Preparing well completion programs for new drilled wells and follow-up the good progress of the operations. • Supervising perforating & cased hole logging operations (CBL, VDL, GR, CCL Correlation), packer, bridge-plug & cement retainer settings. • Preparing in collaboration with service companies stimulation programs to restore well’s productivity and cleanout programs for hard scales BaSO4 and sand. • Well performance analysis and optimisation. • Perform the full range of functions (well integrity investigations using cement logs) necessary for executing well abandonment projects.

Hassi Messaoud & Hassi R'mel Giants Fields are known as two complicated fields in Algeria. In a time span of two years, I have been involved in some tasks as junior production engineer. • Carrying out well performance Analysis. • Artificial Lift designer including Electrical Submersible Pump and Gas lift Designer. • Establishing entire design of horizontal wells (drilling & completion design). • Involved in a development plan of new discovered field (Hassi R'mel South Oil Field), my duty was carrying out a thorough study by: - Performing a well deliverability assessment by running several sensitivities. - Leading effort to hook up wells by optimized artificial lift & optimizing gathering network. - Feasibility of implementing horizontal wells & hydraulic fracturing to improve production.
