Main duties: - to arrive in assigned venue two hours prior to the start of first competition and to leave one hour after the end of the last competition of the day; - to supervise the operational aspects of deployed audio and video equipment in venue; - to take responsibility to hand out and collect all wireless equipment used by SPP staff; - to ensure wireless equipment has sufficient battery charge and when needed to replace batteries and/or charge them; - In case of A/V or Coms equipment failure to determine the source of problem and to find a solution to fix the problem that has occurred. If it is determined that the problem is unsolvable with the resources available in the venue or an expert engineer is needed - to call supervising Technical Cluster Manager and clearly identifying the problem; - to work in accordance of instructions given by Technical Cluster Manager, Technical Manager, Venue Producer, Associate Venue Producer and Cluster Producer; - to assist Audio and Video operators with their tasks; - to accommodate Roaming Camera Crew when crew arrives in the venue and to assist with interconnection of the equipment to the existing technical systems.
