QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced QA Automation Engineer (Python) with experience in Manual Testing to join its team for working with a company from Saudi Arabia.

The customer is a holding company in the labor market in Saudi Arabia. The company is a quasi-governmental company that was founded in 2010 and is a subsidiary of the Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development. The company serves not only individuals but also entire segments in the public and private sectors.

In our project we are looking for an Automation Test Engineer who will contribute to ensuring the quality of customer products and collaborate with both manual and automated engineering teams.

Technology stack: Python, Robot Framework, POM design pattern, Selenium, Katalon Studio, Cucumber.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Setup Test Automation framework.
• Use technical expertise to analyze requirements and ensure the solution is fit for purpose and use.
• Design and execute acceptance testing to improve quality and reduce risk of the application.
• Write and run test automation scripts, investigate and resolve problems in software.
• Estimate efforts for the work to be done.
• Identify test cases for regression testing and prepare test suites.
• Monitor requirements, test cases, and issues. Provide feedback to developers and manual testers.
• Administer and maintain automation scripts and framework. Review product changes and evaluate scripts.
• Coordinate with product development engineers to design test plans and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze and identify bugs in the system and escalate issues if needed.
• Prepare schedule and document test activities and issues.

Must-have:

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer from 6+ months;
• Complete understanding of automation systems and databases.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python.
• Experience in automation testing tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, Katalon Studio, and Cucumber.
• POM (Page object model) design pattern.
• Understanding of testing protocols.
• Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing.
• Familiarity with the software development process.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of scripting and other related procedures;
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
