Lead Java Developer

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Lead Java Developer to join its team on a project in the field of FinTech.

The customer is the first and largest bank of Azerbaijan. It serves more than 5 million individuals and 22 thousand legal entities in different sectors of the economy. The bank offers a wide range of banking products and services, as well as participates in social and cultural projects. It cooperates with leading international financial institutions, such as Citibank N.A., Standard Chartered and HSBC, and maintains strong partnerships with Mastercard and Visa.

The project is a unified loyalty system for several products of the holding.

Tech stack on the project: Java 11, Java 17, SpringBoot, JDBC, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Git.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a Java Developer for 4+ years.
• Experience as a Tech Lead for 1+ year.
• Experience with Java development (Java 11, Java 17).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot framework Knowledge of JDBC for connecting Java applications to databases.
• Experience working with Oracle DB, including creating tables, writing SQL queries, and optimizing database performance.
• Understanding of REST architecture .
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
