Product Owner/Project Manager

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner/Project Manager to work for a long-term project. The client is a big wellness company dedicated to developing, manufacturing, marketing, and distributing a wide range of personal care products through a diverse portfolio of brands.

The Product Owner/Project Manager (also referred to as Product Manager) will be responsible for owning and documenting the business requirements for all company software. This role involves significant interaction with various aspects of the business, aiming to rebuild much of the software in the Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Own and document the business requirements for all company software.
• Discover and document detailed requirements and expected outcomes for software applications.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to develop applications from start to finish, primarily in the Cloud.
• Act as a liaison between the business and engineering teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage product backlogs and development tasks.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of software development progress and outcomes.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure that requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
• Own the future planning and strategic direction of the software development initiatives.

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Project Manager in a technical environment.
• Strong background in writing and documenting business requirements.
• Experience with Cloud technologies and developing applications in the Cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to discovering and documenting requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development processes.
• Experience in writing business requirements.
