Senior PHP Engineer

Our client is building a high-performance logistics platform handling real-time order dispatch, driver routing, and delivery tracking. We’re hiring a Strong Senior PHP Engineer (Laravel) to help them push performance boundaries and design distributed systems that never sleep.

Core requirements:

• 5+ years professional PHP development (PHP 7/8.1+)

• 3+ years Laravel framework in production environments

• Production experience with:

• Real-time systems (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, or long polling)

• Message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS) - handling order dispatch pipelines

• Redis for caching and real-time data (geospatial queries a plus)

• MySQL - optimized for high read/write volumes

• API Design: RESTful APIs handling 1000+ RPS, proper rate limiting and fault tolerance

• Testing: Unit, integration, feature tests are standard (80%+ coverage expected)

• System Design: Can architect distributed systems and explain CAP theorem trade-offs

• OOP/SOLID principles: maintainable code that scales with team growth

• Git workflows: PR reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines

• AI-assisted development: Proficient with modern AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini) for productivity and rapid prototyping

Proven Track Record:

• Delivered at least 2 production systems handling time-sensitive operations

• Performance optimization on real traffic (database indexing, query optimization, caching)

• Handled moderate scale: Systems processing 5K+ transactions/hour

• Experience with concurrent operations - race conditions, locking, idempotency

• Production debugging: Troubleshooting live issues using logs, APM tools, and metrics

• Participated in code reviews: giving and receiving constructive feedback

As a strong plus:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Kubernetes (deployments, pods, services, ingress), Google Cloud Platform, AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS), container orchestration (Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Cloud-Managed Services)

• Architecture: Real-time communication (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, long polling), event-driven systems (event sourcing, CQRS patterns), async PHP (Roadrunner, Swoole, ReactPHP, or similar concurrent processing)

• Geospatial: PostGIS queries, proximity searches, spatial indexing

• Mapping APIs: Google Maps, Mapbox, HERE, TomTom

• API Integrations: Strong experience integrating third-party services, payment gateways, and external data providers

• Data & Search: Elasticsearch for indexing, full-text search, and log/metrics analysis

• Domain Knowledge: FinTech (payment processing, ledger systems, financial reconciliation), on-demand marketplaces (ride-sharing, food delivery, courier)

• Secondary language experience: Python, Node.js, or Go

• Community & Contributions: Open source contributions in any domain

Мы ищем Сильного Senior PHP Engineer (Laravel), который поможет выйти за пределы возможного по производительности и проектировать распределённые системы, работающие 24/7.

Основные требования:

• 5+ лет коммерческой разработки на PHP (PHP 7/8.1+)

• 3+ года работы с Laravel в продакшене

• Опыт работы с:

Доказанный опыт:

• Опыт работы с конкурентными операциями (race conditions, locking, idempotency)

• Отлаживал продакшн: анализ логов, работа с APM-инструментами и метриками

• Участвовал в code review (давал и принимал конструктивный фидбек)
